Fitzroy North is terrace country with a creative streak, and it is exactly the kind of work we love. The Victorian frontages around St Georges Road, Scotchmer Street and the streets off Edinburgh Gardens need patient preparation, timber and iron repair and a colour scheme that suits the streetscape, which is heritage painting rather than a straight recoat.

Inside, Fitzroy North homes are often a blend of restored period rooms at the front and a bright modern extension at the rear, so one job can run from ornate cornices to a clean contemporary interior. Venetian plaster and decorative finishes feel right at home here on a feature wall or entry.

As a local inner-north team we reach Fitzroy North quickly for a quote, and we treat every facade as part of the terrace row it sits in, so the finish looks correct for the building and the street.
