Venetian Plaster, Natural Stone Effect
A decorative wall finished in Venetian plaster worked to a natural-stone appearance, colour matched to the benchtop.

Before, preparation, during, finished
Before
The client wanted a living-area wall to become a quiet feature, with a natural stone look that tied into the stone benchtop rather than competing with it. A flat painted wall was not going to give that depth.
Preparation
The skirting was removed first for a cleaner floor-to-wall line, and the wall was prepared and sealed with Giorgio Graesan Primus Primer so the plaster would key and the colour would hold true.
During
The finish was built up in two coats of Giorgio Graesan Istinto, colour matched to the benchtop and worked by hand to bring out a natural-stone movement and depth, then protected with two coats of wax.
Finished
A soft, stone-like feature wall with real depth and movement that shifts with the light through the day, sitting flush to the floor and matched to the room's stone.
